Intersolar fair in Munich is start for a new “technological together”

EIKO POWER, an Italian company specialized in energy innovation and the production of BESS, celebrated the launch of a new technological joint venture with SAJ (Guangzhou Sanjing Electric Co., Ltd.), a global leader in smart energy solutions, during Intersolar 2025 in Munich.

It is no coincidence that Intersolar, one of the most prestigious fairs in the solar energy sector, was chosen as the stage for the report signed collaboration, where EIKO POWER and SAJ officially signed their collaboration, which aims to develop solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors, with initial models of 99.9kW PCS + 261kWh and 125kW PCS + 261kWh, designed to meet the needs of the European market. This partnership marks a significant step toward reshoring technological production to Europe, one of EIKO POWER's long-standing goals. SAJ will provide technical support and know-how through its research centers in China, while EIKO POWER will manage integration, production in Europe, marketing, and after-sales support. The first prototype will be ready for market testing by the summer of 2025, with mass production to follow immediately.

Samil Ouyang, SAJ (Guangzhou Sanjing Electric Co., Ltd.) CEO, says: “After two local manufactories in the US and one in India, we are launching such a venture for the first time in Europe. We are confident that we have found the right partner in EIKO POWER. In a world that is becoming increasingly global, it is even more important to have a local manufacturer also in Europe that also offers the right service. We are on the right track together.”

“This collaboration will bring huge advantages, both in terms of time and investment, especially for the upcoming opening of our first location in Baranzate, near Milan”, explained Orinta Eivaitė, co-founder of EIKO POWER. “The know-how gained from this partnership in advanced technologies will allow us to speed up all production phases and create new job opportunities.”

EIKO POWER is about to open a 5.000-square-meter facility in the Milan area, dedicated to the production of advanced energy storage systems, which will create jobs for around sixty people, including production staff, engineers, and administrative personnel. In 2026, a second 20.000-square-meter factory will be launched.

EIKO POWER works with EMS (Energy Management System) systems based on artificial intelligence, capable of monitoring and optimizing energy use in real-time, adapting to demand peaks and reducing waste and costs. This proprietary technology runs on European servers and aims at dynamic, decentralized, and efficient management of home energy. “Our artificial intelligence is designed to make the energy system more responsive and dynamic, a crucial element in a Europe aiming for energy independence”, said Massimiliano Cappellato, CEO of EIKO POWER, during Intersolar. “With this new joint venture, we are taking another important step toward promoting technological reshoring, bringing our know-how to Europe and strengthening the continent’s production independence.”

“We chose to invest in Italy and Europe not only for the industrial potential but also for the design, which represents a unique value in our sector. In this new product, as in our existing solutions, aesthetics and functionality are perfectly integrated, offering our customers solutions that are not only technologically advanced but also visually distinctive”, concluded Orinta Eivaitė.
